What changes
microgolf started out with maps rebuilt from Microgolf Masters. Those maps aren’t allowed here anymore, so they are out. Free play has only new, original maps now, and the daily of 11 October is the last one with old ones.
The new set is small for now, so a map comes back within a week or so. It grows with every map that is accepted.

Who makes the new maps
We made the first set ourselves. The next ones can be yours: Greenkeepers, microgolf’s beta testers, build maps in the editor, propose them, and play and rate each other’s and ours. The best ones join the daily and free play, with the designer’s name on them.
- Build a hole and hole it once yourself, so everyone knows it can be done.
- The other Greenkeepers play it, vote and say what par it feels like.
- We decide, and a map we turn down comes with the reason. Your first accepted map earns the Course Architect badge.
- It has to be your own design: a layout that is nearly the same as a map that already exists is turned down.
